Koderma, November 02, 2024: A steel-laden trailer plunged into the dam from the Jawahar Bridge, located on the border of Barhi and Chandwara police jurisdictions, in a serious accident that occurred on Saturday at approximately 5:30 PM. Local authorities are currently engaged in search operations for the missing driver and helper.

The trailer was reportedly transporting steel from Ranchi to Patna when it lost control near the bridge, breaking through the railing and falling into the dam.
