Ramgarh Witnesses a Landmark Educational Announcement
Ramgarh, January 13, 2025: Jharkhand’s Education Minister, Ramdas Soren, announced the establishment of 80 new CM Schools of Excellence to enhance the state’s education system. Speaking in Ramgarh on Monday, Soren highlighted the government’s commitment to improving educational standards, adding to the 80 such schools already operational in the state.
The announcement was made during the inauguration of the Jharkhand Girls’ Residential School in Chamrom, Dulmi block. The minister extended his best wishes to the students and reiterated the government’s focus on providing comprehensive educational facilities to children across the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Aiming for Educational Excellence
The new CM Schools of Excellence are part of the state’s broader strategy to strengthen its educational infrastructure. Minister Soren emphasized the importance of education as a tool for eradicating poverty and contributing to societal and national development.
In his address, the minister also stated that the education department is actively working to fill vacant positions to ensure the smooth functioning of schools. He assured that a systematic plan is underway to address these vacancies promptly.
Government Initiatives for Holistic Development
Highlighting the government’s achievements, Soren spoke about ongoing initiatives such as “Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar,” which have significantly benefited the public. The minister also noted the government’s efforts in health, education, and migration management, showcasing its commitment to holistic development.
Support from Local Leaders and Officials
Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi praised the government’s continuous efforts in the education sector. She highlighted initiatives like the Panchayat Gyan Kendra and the introduction of the Philo app, urging students to take full advantage of these resources.
Devi also suggested installing CCTV cameras in girls’ residential schools to enhance safety. The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Ramgarh, Chandan Kumar, immediately acted on this suggestion and announced plans to implement martial arts training for students in residential schools.
Empowering Students for a Bright Future
DC Chandan Kumar stressed the need for creating a conducive environment for students in Ramgarh. He encouraged students to excel academically and make Jharkhand proud. Kumar highlighted that the next 15 years are crucial for women’s development and urged students to focus on their education.
Cultural Celebrations at the Event
The inauguration ceremony featured cultural performances by students from Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ Residential School and Jharkhand Girls’ Residential School, Dulmi. The students presented songs, dances, and street plays, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm.
Tree Plantation Drive Marks the Event
As part of the program, Education Minister Ramdas Soren, MLA Mamta Devi, DC Chandan Kumar and other officials participated in a tree plantation drive on the school premises.
