The woman, identified as Shobha, was last seen 20 years ago when she left her home in search of work in Delhi. On December 28, Lalki Devi, a resident of Bandh Colony in the Kathara OP area of Bokaro, came across a viral video on YouTube. Lalki Devi approached the Kathara OP police station, where Officer-in-Charge Rajesh Prajapati took immediate action. The investigation revealed that Shobha was living in Haridwar, far from her hometown.

The police, along with Lalki Devi’s nephew Deepak Rana, and other family members, set off for Haridwar. After a long journey, they reached Haridwar on January 1, where they found Shobha living in a makeshift shelter near the main ghats of the city.
