Ranchi, December 10, 2024: Chamra Linda, the esteemed Minister of the Tribal Welfare Department, reaffirmed the Jharkhand government’s commitment to inclusive development during his visit to the Welfare Complex in Morahbadi. Emphasizing the state’s dedication to upliftment, Chamra Linda declared that ensuring welfare schemes reach the “last person in line” is a top priority.
Accompanied by senior officials, including Tribal Welfare Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha, Chamra Linda inspected ongoing operations and interacted with department staff. His focus remained on ensuring transparency, efficiency and timely execution of initiatives designed to benefit Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward classes.
Welfare Beneficiaries at the Core of Government Initiatives
The Minister highlighted the importance of equitable access to welfare schemes. “Every program under the Tribal Welfare Department must directly benefit those at the grassroots,” Linda asserted. Initiatives such as scholarships, bicycle distributions and the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme were spotlighted as transformative efforts aimed at empowering marginalized communities.
Officials were directed to ensure that every welfare scheme reaches its intended beneficiaries with full transparency. Chamra Linda stressed that delays or inefficiencies in disbursing scholarships or implementing other development schemes would not be tolerated, emphasizing the accountability of every department member involved.
