Deoghar, November 25, 2024: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has leveled serious allegations against workers of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), accusing them of assaulting BJP supporters in Deoghar’s Madankatta area. In a tweet, Nishikant Dubey stated that JMM workers, celebrating a recent victory, targeted a BJP worker’s residence, escalating tensions in the region.

The incident reportedly took place at BJP worker Sanjay Gupta’s home in Madankatta during a victory rally organized by JMM workers following their win in the Madhupur Assembly seat. According to Dubey, the workers vandalized Gupta’s property and attempted to remove BJP flags displayed on his premises.

BJP candidate Ganga Narayan Singh, who contested the Madhupur seat, criticized the actions of JMM workers, calling them “highly condemnable.” Singh accused the newly elected MLA Hafizul Hasan and his supporters of creating unrest among BJP workers.
“Such acts of aggression are targeted efforts to intimidate BJP supporters,” Singh said, emphasizing that the people of Madhupur are being subjected to undue pressure and harassment.

Officers from the Karon police station, led by Officer-in-Charge Amar Kumar, arrived at the scene to de-escalate the situation.
