Giridih, October 24, 2024: On Thursday, BJP candidate Dr. Manju Kumari officially filed her nomination for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections from Jamua constituency. The nomination process took place before Additional Collector Deepak Singh Birua. Accompanying Manju Kumari were prominent leaders, including Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sharma and party representatives like Shukra Ravidas, who were present as proposers.
Manju Kumari completed her nomination by submitting two sets of documents, signaling her strong intent to contest in the elections. The event saw a gathering of her supporters, reflecting her established presence in the constituency.
Giridih JMM Election Update: Sudivya Sonu’s Candidacy
Similarly, Sudivya Sonu, the current JMM MLA from Giridih, also submitted his nomination papers on the same day. He was accompanied by a large procession of supporters, demonstrating significant backing from his constituency. The nomination took place at the office of Sadar SDM and Returning Officer, Shrikant Yashwant.
As the incumbent candidate, Sudivya Sonu is seeking re-election under the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) banner, with hopes to continue his work in the region. The procession highlighted the support and enthusiasm for his candidacy, marking an important moment in the run-up to the elections.
