Gumla News: Teacher Beats Third Grader for Not Cleaning Trash, Community Outraged

Gumla, November 29, 2024: A shocking case of alleged teacher brutality has emerged from Gumla, Jharkhand, where a third-grade student was reportedly beaten severely by a teacher for failing to clean trash. The incident occurred on Thursday at Rajkiya Utkrimit Uchh Vidyalaya, located in the Chainpur block’s Sikri area. The child, identified as Asmit Oraon, sustained serious injuries, including severe swelling around his eye.

According to eyewitnesses, the teacher, Ranvijay Singh, instructed the students to clean the classroom and allegedly started beating Asmit when he hesitated to follow the instructions. The attack reportedly left the child with injuries to his head, back and eye.

Asmit was rushed to the Chainpur Community Health Center, where medical professionals expressed concern over his condition. Dr. D.N.
