Hazaribagh, November 21, 2024: A devastating bus accident in Hazaribagh’s Gorhar area claimed 12 lives and left 24 passengers injured early Thursday morning. The incident, which occurred around 6 a.m., involved a passenger bus en route from Kolkata to Patna that overturned after the driver reportedly lost control due to dense fog and overspeeding.

The tragedy unfolded on National Highway-2 (NH-2), a key route connecting major cities in Jharkhand and neighboring states. Eyewitnesses described the chaotic scene as local residents rushed to rescue passengers trapped inside the mangled vehicle.
