Ranchi, October 26, 2024: BJP State President Babulal Marandi has raised serious concerns about the future of Jharkhand, stating that the state’s development and governance are under threat. In a recent social media post, Babulal Marandi criticized the current administration, led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, for failing to address critical issues affecting the youth and overall progress of the region.

Allegations of Poor Governance and Employment Issues

Babulal Marandi accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-Congress alliance government of neglecting the needs of the state’s youth. According to him, the current administration has consistently failed to deliver on promises related to employment, especially in organizing competitive exams.

“Jharkhand’s youth are forced to endure the bitter reality of irregular exams and constant paper leaks,” Babulal Marandi said in his statement. He further emphasized that despite repeated assurances, the government has not managed to conduct any successful recruitment drives over the past five years.

Claims of Corruption in Job Recruitment

Babulal Marandi’s criticisms extended to allegations of corruption in job recruitment. He claimed that job-selling rackets have thrived under the current government’s protection. “Instead of fulfilling its commitment to hold regular exams through the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), the administration has allowed corrupt practices to grow,” Babulal Marandi asserted.

He mentioned that this has severely damaged the morale of the youth, who have lost faith in the state’s recruitment processes. He urged the youth to rise and demand change, stating, “We must fight for our future, for our bread and for our land.”

Calls for Accountability and Government Response

The BJP leader also highlighted the government’s alleged failure in delivering on its promise of job creation. He pointed out that Chief Minister Hemant Soren had once pledged to provide 5 lakh jobs in a year, yet this promise remains unfulfilled. Babulal Marandi claimed that the youth of Jharkhand are now eagerly awaiting Soren’s resignation, as they feel betrayed by his unmet promises. “The state has become an example of failed governance, and the youth are disillusioned with the false hope,” Babulal Marandi stated, adding that the government’s inefficiency has jeopardized Jharkhand’s future.
