Ranchi, September 28, 2025: Security arrangements in the capital city have been intensified as Durga Puja approaches. On Sunday, Ranchi Police, along with central security forces, carried out a flag march across sensitive locations of the city on the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rakesh Ranjan.
Flag March Across Key Routes in Ranchi
The flag march began from Albert Ekka Chowk and passed through Main Road before reaching Karbala Chowk. From there, the convoy moved along Church Road and Kali Mandir Road, covering areas that have witnessed communal tension in the past.
Senior police officials personally halted at several vulnerable spots to review arrangements and issued necessary instructions to local station house officers (SHOs). Officials also inspected the deployment of forces and security measures at sensitive points.
Police Message for Peaceful Durga Puja in Ranchi
Through the flag march, Ranchi Police conveyed a clear message to citizens to celebrate Durga Puja peacefully. Authorities assured the public that strict action will be taken against any anti-social elements attempting to disturb harmony or law and order during the festivities.
The security initiative aims to reassure residents, maintain communal harmony, and ensure smooth observance of Durga Puja across Ranchi.
