Saraikela News: Body Found Outside Shop in Gamharia, Saraikela, Excessive Alcohol Consumption Suspected

Saraikela-Kharsawan, September 18, 2025: Panic spread in Gamharia on Thursday morning when a body was discovered outside a shop near Lal Building Chowk, along the service road. The deceased was identified as Rajesh Mahato, a local resident reportedly addicted to alcohol.

Body Discovered Outside Dara Variety Store

According to eyewitnesses, the body was found around 7:00 am outside Dara Variety Store. Locals immediately informed Adityapur police about the incident. Within minutes, a large crowd gathered at the spot, causing commotion in the area.

Police Investigation Underway in Saraikela Body Case

As of the time of reporting, police officials had not reached the scene. However, preliminary reports suggest that Rajesh Mahato may have died due to excessive alcohol consumption. Authorities are yet to confirm the cause of death and await official post-mortem results.
