Jamshedpur, September 07, 2026: Borrowers with pending loan accounts in East Singhbhum will get an opportunity to explore one-time settlement options as the National Lok Adalat is scheduled to be held in Jamshedpur and Ghatshila on September 12, 2026.
Ahead of the Lok Adalat, Bank of India will conduct special camps at all its branches in the district on September 8, 9 and 10. Borrowers can visit their respective branches during the camps to obtain details about their outstanding loan accounts and discuss the settlement proposals available from the bank.
The initiative is aimed at providing eligible borrowers an easier route to settle pending loans through the National Lok Adalat.
Special camps before the Lok Adalat
The three-day branch-level campaign will allow borrowers to understand the settlement options available for their accounts before the September 12 proceedings.
The Lead District Manager’s Office, East Singhbhum, has appealed to concerned borrowers to contact their respective Bank of India branches and make use of the settlement opportunity available through the National Lok Adalat.
Borrowers seeking to resolve their pending loan accounts are advised to approach their concerned branch during the special camp dates for further details about the applicable settlement proposal.
