Ranchi News: State-Level Samriddhi Competition 2025 Organized at JCERT
Ranchi, October 04, 2025: The Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training (JCERT), Ratu, Ranchi, hosted the State-Level Samriddhi Competition 2025 on Saturday. The event highlighted art-integrated learning methods aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) and witnessed the participation of 48 selected teachers from 24 districts across the state.
Aim to Promote Art-Integrated Teaching Methods under NEP
The objective of the Samriddhi Competition is to familiarize teachers with innovative academic practices that incorporate art-based methodologies. These approaches are designed to simplify complex subjects and make classroom teaching more engaging and effective for students.
Inauguration Ceremony by Senior Education Officials
The competition was inaugurated with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by Sachidanand Divendu Tigga, senior officer from Jharkhand Education Project Council, along with JCERT Deputy Director Banke Bihari Singh and State Program Officer Dhirsain A. Soren.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tigga emphasized the role of teachers in driving sustainable development in education and encouraged the adoption of new teaching methods. Guest of honor Banke Bihari Singh praised the Samriddhi initiative, noting that it has the potential to bring long-lasting improvements in the education sector.
Samriddhi Program’s Contribution to Jharkhand Education
State Program Officer Dhirsain A. Soren shared that the Samriddhi initiative was launched last year as part of the broader Kala Utsav (Art Festival). He highlighted that two teachers from Jharkhand represented the state at the national level in the previous year. This year’s winners will also get the opportunity to participate at the national stage, showcasing Jharkhand’s commitment to educational innovation.
Strengthening Teacher Participation Across 24 Districts
By involving teachers from all 24 districts of Jharkhand, the state-level competition has become an important platform for sharing best practices, enhancing skills, and preparing educators to adapt to art-integrated pedagogy under NEP 2020. Officials emphasized that such initiatives will improve classroom delivery, encourage creativity, and ultimately benefit students across the state.
