Giridih, November 06, 2024: In a significant shift in local political allegiance, hundreds of young supporters from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in the Sadar Assembly constituency joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday evening. The event took place at the primary election office of BJP candidate Nirbhay Shahabadi, where the youth were formally inducted into the BJP fold with a welcoming ceremony.

Nirbhay Shahabadi, BJP candidate from Sadar Assembly, personally welcomed the new members, including prominent JMM youth leaders such as Helish Soren, Barka Murmu and Kapil Soren from the Junglepura area. Shahabadi greeted the young leaders with BJP stoles as a symbol of their new affiliation, assuring them of full respect and opportunities within the party.

The new supporters expressed their belief that BJP could better fulfill the aspirations that they felt were overlooked during the last five years under the Hemant Soren-led government.
