Ranchi News: Dhurwa Police Station Relocated to IRB Building Amid Renovations

Ranchi, October 28, 2024: The Dhurwa Police Station has been temporarily relocated to the IRB Building near the State Bank of India in Ranchi, following the deteriorating condition of its original premises. The move aims to facilitate the construction of a new smart police station at the original site, which is currently underway.

Smart Police Station to Offer Modern Amenities

The new smart police station, once completed, will feature state-of-the-art facilities to enhance public service and operational efficiency. Planned amenities include a modern station building, well-maintained restrooms, a rest home for police personnel, a recreation hall, and a fully equipped work station. Additionally, the new infrastructure will have designated vehicle parking, rainwater harvesting systems and upgraded furniture to ensure a comfortable environment for both staff and visitors.

Enhanced Security and Public Comfort

One of the significant improvements will be the installation of comprehensive CCTV surveillance systems around the premises, ensuring enhanced security. The new station will also feature a large reception hall with adequate seating arrangements for the public, aimed at improving visitor experience.
