CRM Team Arrives in Jharkhand to Review Health Initiatives
The CRM team’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to evaluating health services at the grassroots level. The delegation is tasked with analyzing key health programs, including maternal and child health initiatives, disease prevention efforts and infrastructure readiness. These assessments will provide actionable insights into the implementation of the National Health Mission in Jharkhand.
During their visit, the team will interact with healthcare providers, patients and community members to gather firsthand feedback on program impact. They will also examine operational aspects, such as the efficiency of health institutions, availability of human resources and the utilization of funds.
Introductory Session Highlights Key Achievements
The visit commenced with an introductory session held at the RCH Auditorium in Namkum. State Program Manager Anima Kisku presented a comprehensive progress report for the Sahibganj and East Singhbhum districts through a detailed PowerPoint presentation.

Field Visits and Expert Observations
Over the next three days, the CRM team will visit various healthcare facilities, rural areas and community centers to assess the on-ground realities. The delegation aims to meet with healthcare workers, including ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activists) workers, who are instrumental in connecting rural populations with essential health services.
The team will also evaluate infrastructure, such as the condition of primary health centers (PHCs) and district hospitals, as well as the quality of services provided to patients. Additionally, they will review the deployment of initiatives like the 108 emergency ambulance service and the 104 health helpline.
