Koderma, September 11, 2026: The investigation into the alleged JSSC CGL paper leak and examination irregularities has reached Koderma, where the CID’s Special Investigation Team conducted late-night raids at two separate locations and detained two men for questioning.
The action was carried out late Thursday night. Both individuals were subsequently taken to Ranchi for further questioning, according to sources linked to the investigation.
Raids conducted at two locations
The SIT first conducted a search in Golwadah under Domchanch police station, where it detained Rajesh Yadav, son of Jagdish Yadav, from his residence.
The team then carried out another operation in Purnanagar Road under Koderma Sadar police station and detained Sandeep Kumar, son of Ramdev Singh.
After the two men were brought to Koderma police station, they were taken to Ranchi for further questioning.
Names reportedly surfaced during earlier interrogation
Sources associated with the investigation said the names of the two men emerged during questioning of individuals and alleged intermediaries previously arrested in connection with the JSSC CGL case.
Following this, the SIT reportedly gathered information about their alleged contacts and activities before carrying out the late-night operation.
Investigators are expected to question the two men about their alleged links with the examination network, possible dealings involving question papers, attempts to provide unfair advantages to candidates and potential financial transactions.
However, CID and local police have not officially disclosed the specific roles allegedly played by the two detained men.
Investigation may expand further
The latest action has intensified scrutiny of the alleged examination network in Koderma.
Investigators are expected to examine whether the questioning of the two men leads to additional names or contacts connected with the case.
