Ranchi, September 6: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Jharkhand Police has arrested another accused in connection with the case related to the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC CGL) examination.
The agency arrested Kundan Kumar, a resident of Palamu district, on Saturday from the Naudiha Bazar police station area.
According to the CID, the arrest was made in connection with CID Police Station Case No. 01/2025, registered in relation to the JSSC CGL competitive examination.
Accused identified as Palamu resident
The arrested man has been identified as Kundan Kumar, son of Ramlal Ram, a resident of Dumri village under Namodag post and Naudiha Bazar police station in Palamu district.
The CID is investigating alleged irregularities and other suspected wrongdoing linked to the JSSC CGL examination.
CID continues investigation
The investigation agency has been questioning suspects and accused persons as part of the ongoing probe. Their alleged roles and possible involvement in the examination-related irregularities are also being examined.
The latest arrest comes as the CID continues its investigation into the JSSC CGL case and takes further action based on the findings of the probe.
