Dhanbad, August 28, 2026: The Dhanbad district administration has announced the schedule for medical examination and educational and other document verification of candidates selected in the urban technical category of the Home Guard recruitment process.
Candidates have been called for verification according to their roll numbers or serial numbers in the merit list. The administration has released separate dates for male and female candidates.

August 29, 2026: Male candidates ranked 1 to 115 in the merit list under the Urban Technical (Dhanbad) category will undergo their medical examination and document verification.
August 31, 2026: Female candidates ranked 1 to 24 and male candidates ranked 116 to 201 will be required to appear for their medical examination and document verification.
Candidates should report according to the schedule applicable to their merit-list number and complete the required verification process.
September 1 is the final opportunity
The district administration has also provided a final opportunity for candidates who are unable to appear on August 29 or 31 for a valid reason.
Such candidates can complete the medical examination and document verification on September 1, 2026.
The administration has made it clear that no further opportunity will be provided after September 1. Candidates who fall within the affected categories have therefore been advised to ensure their presence within the prescribed schedule.
Administration warns candidates against middlemen
The district administration has also cautioned candidates against falling for claims by middlemen or fraudsters promising jobs or selection in exchange for money.
Candidates have been advised to report anyone seeking money in return for recruitment-related assistance or making such promises.
Information about suspected fraud, malpractice or other suspicious activity can be reported directly to the Home Guard DSP at 6299226344.
The administration has urged candidates not to rely on rumours and to follow only official information related to the recruitment process.
