FJCCI Elections 2025 Ranchi: 3,985 Voters to Decide Fate of 44 Candidates

Ranchi, September 21, 2025: The much-awaited Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) elections commenced on Sunday at Swarnabhoomi Banquet Hall, Dangratoli. From the morning hours, a large turnout of members was seen at the polling venue. Voting will continue until 5 p.m., after which counting will begin, and results are expected to be declared later today.

21 Executive Committee Seats, 44 Candidates in the Fray

This year, elections are being held for 21 executive committee seats. Out of the 56 nominations filed, six candidates withdrew their names, leaving 44 contestants in the race. For the post of regional vice presidents, only six nominations were received, leading to all six being elected unopposed.

3,985 Eligible Voters in Ranchi

According to Election Officer Pawan Sharma, a total of 3,985 members are eligible to vote in the FJCCI elections. The voter list includes 3,727 life members, 158 general members, 85 affiliated members, 10 corporate members, and 5 patron members. All categories of members have the right to cast their votes.

Membership Fee Collection Facility at Polling Center

Special arrangements have been made at the polling center for members who have not yet cleared their membership dues. Officials confirmed that such members can deposit their fees on-site before exercising their voting rights.

Results Expected by Sunday Evening

The polling process will conclude at 5 p.m., followed immediately by counting. The FJCCI election results are expected to be declared on the same day, marking the culmination of one of Jharkhand’s most closely watched organizational polls.
