Jamshedpur, September 4, 2026: A bonus settlement covering 843 employees of Tinplate Division has been signed between the company management and the Tata Tinplate Workers Union, with individual payouts ranging from ₹32,831 to ₹86,350.
The agreement was concluded on Thursday at the boardroom of Tata Steel’s General Office in Jamshedpur. Under the settlement, around ₹4.36 crore will be distributed among employees as bonus.
The agreement provides the minimum and maximum payout applicable to employees covered by the settlement.
Senior management and union leaders attend signing
The management delegation included Chief People Officer Atrayi Sanyal, CHRO India Manufacturing Jubin Palia, Chief IR Legal & CWM Rahul Dubey and Chief Tinplate Ajay Kumar Jha, along with other senior officials.
The union was represented by president Rakeshwar Pandey, general secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, vice-president Parvinder Singh Sohal, senior vice-president Sai Babu Raju, Vakil Khan, Jagjit Singh, joint secretary Sanjay Kumar, Vinay Kumar Sahu, Amrit Kumar Jha, Niranjan Mahapatra, treasurer Sangram Kishore Das and assistant treasurer Surya Bhushan Sharma, among other office-bearers.
₹4.36 crore to be distributed
The settlement will benefit all 843 employees covered under the agreement.
