Families of Five Victims in Jharkhand to Receive Financial Assistance
Ranchi, September 26, 2025: The Jharkhand Home, Prisons and Disaster Management Department has issued an order granting compensation to the families of five people killed in separate incidents of Naxal violence across the state. According to the directive, each affected family will receive ₹1 lakh as ex-gratia assistance.
Officials confirmed that the victims belonged to Chaibasa, Khunti, Ranchi and Gumla districts, where incidents of Maoist-related violence have claimed several lives in recent years.
