The deceased, identified as Anappa Duggal from Karnataka, reportedly shot himself using his INSAS service rifle. Eyewitnesses indicated that Duggal had completed guard duty until around 4:00 AM and subsequently went to the bathroom on the second floor of the camp. At approximately 4:30 AM, he inflicted the fatal wound to his jaw, leading to immediate concern among his colleagues.
