Ranchi, August 30, 2026: RIMS has opened a recruitment drive for 53 contractual positions linked to the implementation of health schemes, giving job aspirants an opportunity to work at the premier government medical institute in Ranchi. The selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview on August 31, 2026.
Candidates appearing for the recruitment process must report at the Director’s Office, RIMS, Ranchi, between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
Three Categories of Posts, 53 Vacancies in Total
The recruitment covers three positions – Operational Manager–Health Insurance, Floor Coordinator and Arogya Mitra.
The Operational Manager–Health Insurance category has one vacancy, carrying a monthly remuneration of ₹75,000.
There are 12 vacancies for Floor Coordinator. The category-wise breakup includes five unreserved posts, three ST posts, one SC post, one BC-I post, one BC-II post and one EWS post. The selected candidates will receive ₹30,000 per month.
The remaining 40 vacancies are for Arogya Mitra. Unlike the fixed monthly remuneration for the other positions, payment for this role will be made at the rate of ₹120 per successful case.
Who Can Apply?
The eligibility criteria differ according to the position.
For Operational Manager–Health Insurance, applicants must have an MBA in Healthcare or a master’s degree in the health sector. At least five years of experience in implementing government health insurance programmes is also required.
Candidates applying for Floor Coordinator must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. They should also have two years of experience as a manager in a government health programme or health insurance, along with a minimum one-year certificate course in computer operations.
For Arogya Mitra, applicants need to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board and hold a six-month DCA certificate. Previous experience as an Arogya Mitra will be considered an advantage.
For all three positions, candidates are expected to have good communication skills in Hindi and English, along with computer knowledge.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The maximum age limit for candidates in the general category is 40 years.
The upper age limit has been fixed at 45 years for ST/SC candidates and 42 years for BC-I and BC-II candidates.
Government employees and women candidates will be eligible for age relaxation according to the applicable Jharkhand government rules.
Walk-in Interview on August 31
Eligible candidates can appear directly for the walk-in interview on August 31, 2026, at the RIMS Director’s Office in Ranchi. Reporting will be allowed between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
Candidates should ensure that they carry all documents required under the recruitment notification, including relevant educational and experience certificates.
