Adityapur, September 02, 2026: Central Public School, Adityapur, celebrated Janmashtami with a series of cultural activities featuring students from the junior wing, from Nursery to Class V.
The celebration brought together devotional music, dance and performances centred on the life and childhood stories of Lord Krishna. Several students arrived dressed as Krishna and Radha, adding a traditional touch to the school’s celebrations.
Students presented devotional songs, dances and other cultural performances, showcasing their enthusiasm and confidence while creating a festive atmosphere on the school campus.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of the junior wing coordinator and teachers, who encouraged the students to participate actively in the celebrations.
The school said the event was intended to familiarise students with the cultural and spiritual significance of Janmashtami while encouraging values such as devotion, love, compassion and good conduct.
The performances by the young students made the celebration lively, with children presenting different aspects associated with the festival and demonstrating their talents.

School principal Rama Shankar Singh appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students and praised the junior wing coordinator and teachers for their efforts in organising the programme.
