Jamshedpur, September 07, 2026: Bol Bam Seva Trust held its annual volunteer gathering on Sunday, bringing together a large number of its workers and volunteers to review the organisation’s service activities and plan its upcoming community initiatives.
Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy attended the programme as the chief guest. Tata Motors Union General Secretary R.K. Singh, president Shashi Bhushan Prasad, district council member Dr Kavita Parmar and JDU district president Manju Singh were among the other guests present.
The programme began with a condolence meeting following the sudden death of Jharkhand minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu, after which the formal proceedings started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a mangal geet.
The trust presented an overview of its service activities undertaken during the year and administered a pledge to volunteers to remain committed to social service.
Dedicated volunteers and children honoured
Volunteers recognised for their active and dedicated contribution were presented with angavastrams and certificates. Children who had enthusiastically participated in the trust’s service activities were also given gifts to encourage their involvement.
The trust also acknowledged the contribution of its women volunteers, who have played an important role in its activities throughout the year.
New teams formed for upcoming initiatives
The organisation also outlined plans to make its future service work more structured. Separate teams have been formed to handle activities including weekly Annapurna Seva, skill development and training, environmental protection, education-related initiatives and the Kanwariya service camp in Deoghar.
Several trust members contributed to organising the programme, including Pankaj Singh, Anish Kumar, Rakesh Singh, Rahul Tiwari, Santosh, Roshan, Anup Nandi, Amit Gupta, Kapil Dev Mishra, Mantu Karmali, Basant, Nishant and Shailesh.
Women volunteers including Padma, Shweta, Archana, Neetu, Anju, Richa, Pushpa, Ahilya Devi and Sarika, among others, also supported the event.
The annual gathering concluded with a renewed focus on expanding the trust’s social service activities and encouraging greater participation from its volunteers.
