Jharkhand News: Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren Pays Tribute to Birsa Munda’s Descendant Mangal Munda at RIMS

Ranchi, November 29, 2024: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid tribute to Mangal Munda, a descendant of legendary tribal leader Birsa Munda, at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi. CM Soren offered floral tributes to honor Mangal Munda’s contributions and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.

Mangal Munda, who passed away following a tragic accident on November 25, was admitted to RIMS for treatment. The incident occurred when he fell from the roof of a vehicle, causing severe head injuries and blood clotting. Despite medical efforts, his condition worsened, leading to his demise.

Chief Minister’s Condolence Message

CM Hemant Soren interacted with the grieving family members during his visit to RIMS. He conveyed his heartfelt sympathies and assured support to the family during this difficult time. Taking to social media, Soren also shared a condolence message, honoring Mangal Munda’s legacy as a descendant of the great tribal hero, Birsa Munda.

In his tweet, Soren stated, “The loss of Mangal Munda, a proud descendant of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, is deeply saddening. May his soul rest in peace and may his family find the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”

Several political figures visited RIMS over the past three days to check on Mangal Munda’s condition and express their solidarity. These included MLA CP Singh, BJP leader Meera Munda and independent legislator Navin Jaiswal, among others. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) was also reportedly in touch with RIMS to monitor Mangal Munda’s health updates.
