Jamtara, December 07, 2024: In a decisive operation against cybercrime, the Jamtara Police have arrested four individuals accused of duping people by posing as bank officials and demanding sensitive information under the pretense of updating KYC (Know Your Customer) details.
Four Cybercriminals Caught in Jamtara Crackdown
Acting on a confidential tip-off, a team from the Jamtara Cyber Police Station, under the direction of the Superintendent of Police, arrested Babuchand Das and Nitai Das from Pandedih village (Jamtara) along with Bikram Rakhit and Sapan Rakhit from Madanadi village (Narayanpur). Notably, Sapan Rakhit was already wanted in a separate case registered at Narayanpur Police Station.
