Bokaro, August 31, 2026: Ten employees of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) were honoured at a monthly retirement felicitation ceremony organised by the company’s Bokaro and Kargali areas at Kargali Guest House.

Among those honoured was Area Accounts Officer Khursheed Akhtar, who retired after around 37 years of service. The retiring employees were presented with garlands, shawls and coconuts as a mark of appreciation for their contribution.

Retirees’ experience described as valuable institutional asset

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha said the experience accumulated by employees over long periods of service represents valuable institutional knowledge.

He emphasised the importance of human resource management, employee welfare and effective communication for the functioning and success of an organisation.

Jha said the contribution made by the retiring employees to the development of the institution would remain memorable. He wished them healthy, fulfilling and active lives after retirement.

Employees urged to discharge duties with dedication

The Deputy Commissioner also stressed the importance of performing professional responsibilities with sincerity and dedication.

Appreciating the contribution of the retiring employees, he extended his best wishes for their future.

General Manager Sanjay Jha said the organisation would feel the absence of experienced and dedicated employees following their retirement.

He said replacing the experience and contribution they had accumulated over the years would not be easy.

The General Manager expressed gratitude to the retiring employees and wished them good health and a happy life ahead.
