Jharkhand News: Rajnath Singh Declares BJP as a Powerful Rocket for Jharkhand’s Growth

Ranchi, November 05, 2024: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh declared at an election rally in Ranchi’s Ratu area that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) represents a “powerful rocket” poised to elevate Jharkhand to new heights. He criticized rival parties, including the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), claiming their governance has historically led to the state’s stagnation and decline.

Rajnath Singh emphasized that since Jharkhand’s formation two decades ago, no BJP Chief Ministers have faced legal action or imprisonment, in stark contrast to the records of their JMM counterparts. He stated, “Every time JMM had governance, it led to devastation,” framing their leadership as detrimental to tribal welfare.

The Defence Minister outlined the BJP’s commitment to tribal populations, asserting that the party has consistently honored tribal leaders and recognized their contributions. He noted the appointment of a tribal president and the nationwide celebration of Birsa Munda Jayanti as significant milestones in promoting tribal heritage. Rajnath Singh highlighted that 62,000 tribal villages have benefited from targeted development plans aimed at enhancing their living conditions.

Rajnath Singh positioned the BJP as a catalyst for Jharkhand’s advancement, accusing opposition parties of acting as “brakes” to progress. He underscored the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, referencing India’s enhanced global stature, including the recent repatriation of 102 tons of gold from abroad. This achievement, he argued, underscores the growing prestige of the nation on the international stage.

By focusing on development initiatives and tribal welfare, Rajnath Singh reinforced the BJP’s commitment to uplifting Jharkhand, ensuring that the aspirations of tribal communities are met through sustained and meaningful efforts.
