Ranchi, December 07, 2024: Union Minister of State for Defence and Ranchi MP, Sanjay Seth, has reportedly received a threatening message demanding ₹50 lakh as extortion. The message, sent to Sanjay Seth’s mobile phone, warned of severe consequences if the amount is not paid within three days. The incident has raised serious concerns about the growing audacity of criminals in Ranchi.

The extortion threat came to light while the minister was in Delhi, attending the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament. Upon receiving the message, Sanjay Seth promptly informed Delhi Police.
