Ranchi, January 29, 2025: The Meteorological Department has predicted a significant change in Jharkhand’s weather starting January 30, 2024, with a drop in temperature, increased fog and cloudy conditions expected across multiple districts. The cold wave is anticipated to intensify, impacting daily life, travel and agriculture.

Fog and Cold Conditions to Persist Until February 2

According to the latest weather updates, dense fog and mist will dominate Jharkhand’s mornings from January 30 to February 2. During this period, partial cloud cover will be observed in several regions, leading to lower daytime temperatures and a further dip in nighttime temperatures.

City-Wise Temperature Forecast (January 30 – February 3)

Ranchi:

  • January 30: Max: 26°C, Min: 12°C
  • February 1: Max: 25°C, Min: 11°C
  • February 3: Max: 27°C, Min: 13°C

Jamshedpur:

  • January 30: Max: 29°C, Min: 14°C
  • February 1: Max: 28°C, Min: 13°C
  • February 3: Max: 30°C, Min: 15°C

Hazaribagh:

  • January 30: Max: 27°C, Min: 12°C

Other districts, including Dhanbad, Bokaro, Giridih and Deoghar, will experience similar weather patterns, with minimum temperatures hovering between 10°C and 14°C.
