Ramgarh, September 03, 2026: The Ramgarh administration has reviewed the management and development of the Maa Chhinnamastika Temple at Rajrappa, with particular attention to financial transparency, donation handling and facilities for devotees.
The review meeting of the Rajrappa Tourism Development Authority was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Rituraj and attended by Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat at the district collectorate.
Officials and members of the temple trust discussed the overall development of the temple, expansion of facilities for devotees and the proposed expansion of the temple trust committee. The meeting was also held as part of the process to ensure full compliance with orders issued by the Jharkhand High Court.
Trust rules and bank transactions reviewed
The meeting examined the rules and by-laws governing the Maa Chhinnamastika Rajrappa Temple Trust Committee, particularly provisions concerning withdrawals and expenditure from its bank accounts.
The Deputy Commissioner held discussions with trust committee members on the applicable rules, regulations, resolutions and other provisions governing the financial functioning of the committee.
QR donations and donation boxes under scrutiny
The administration also reviewed the QR codes installed within the temple premises. Officials discussed which bank accounts these QR codes are linked to and where the funds received through them are being deposited.
The process for handling cash collected through donation boxes was also examined, including collection, transparent counting, depositing the amount into the designated bank account and subsequent withdrawal and expenditure in accordance with prescribed procedures.
Administration stresses court order compliance
Rituraj said the Maa Chhinnamastika Temple is an important religious and tourism centre and that the convenience and safety of devotees, along with financial transparency in temple management, remain key priorities.
He directed all concerned departments and the temple trust committee to coordinate closely and ensure that the High Court’s orders are implemented in full.
The meeting was attended by the District Sports Officer-cum-District Tourism Nodal Officer of Ramgarh, as well as the president, vice-president and secretary of the temple trust committee representing the Panda community, along with other administrative and departmental officials.
