Ranchi News: DSPMU Administration Forms Committee to Review Fee Dispute in Ranchi

Ranchi:, September 24, 2025 Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU), Ranchi, has taken a key decision in response to the ongoing fee dispute. The university administration has announced the formation of a special committee to review the existing fee structure, placing student welfare as its top priority.

DSPMU Fee Structure Under Review

The newly formed committee will thoroughly examine the current fee system and make recommendations to ensure transparency and fairness. University officials confirmed that any decision regarding fees will be taken with students’ interests in mind.

The administration further clarified that students enrolled in the current session will not be required to deposit fees until the review process is completed. This directive comes as a major relief for many students who had raised concerns about inconsistencies in the fee structure.

According to the DSPMU administration, the decision was made after extensive discussions between students and senior officials, including the Dean of Student Welfare (DSW), Proctor, Registrar, and Finance Officer.

Student Protests Over Fee Hike and Poor Campus Facilities
