Ranchi, September 04, 2026: The BJP’s Jharkhand unit has expanded its state-level organisational structure with appointments across 12 departments and 28 cells, assigning responsibilities to coordinators and co-coordinators in areas ranging from media and training to industry, education, sports and tourism.
The appointments were announced on Friday by state general secretary Ganesh Mishra with the approval of state president Aditya Sahu. The move is aimed at strengthening the party’s organisational functioning across specialised areas.
Key organisational responsibilities assigned
Among the 12 departments, Mahadev Dubey has been appointed coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Department, while Nishi Jaiswal will head the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Department.
Rajesh Mandal has been given responsibility for the Namami Gange Department, while Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Manoj Dubey and Subodh Kant have been assigned the Training Campaign Department.
Alok Tiwari will oversee the Policy Research Department, Kishlay Tiwari the Media Contact Department, and Sanjay Chaudhary, Anil Singh and Chandan Kumar the Political Programmes and Meeting Management Department.
Anuj Kumar has been named coordinator for the State President’s Office Visits and Programmes Department, while Chandu Prakash will handle Election Commission Coordination.
Hemant Gupta has been assigned the Legal and Law Department, Ravinath Kishore the Party Magazine and Publications Department, and Vijay Pandey the International Contact Department.
Party also fills specialised cells
The BJP has also announced appointments across its specialised state-level cells.
Among them, Dr Umashankar Kedia and Krishna Kumar Munna have been named coordinators of the Senior Citizens Cell. Manish Jaiswal and Nandlal Agrawal will handle the Lifetime Cooperation Fund Cell.
Colonel BK Singh has been appointed to the IT Cell, Anil Modi to the Urban Local Bodies Cell, and Sudhir Srivastava to the Legal Cell.
The Intellectuals Cell has Rajesh Shukla and Balwant Singh Yadav, while Rajendra Paswan and Mukesh Kumar Singh have been assigned the Industry Cell. Dilip Soni will coordinate the Traders Cell.
The party has also named CM Rajkumar and CA Pradip Kumar Jaluka for the Economic Cell, Dr Abhishek Ramadhin and Harendra Singh for the Medical Cell, and Samar Singh and Jatashankar Pandey for the Education Cell.
Wider representation across social and professional groups
Other appointments include Ranjan Kumar Singh alias Chhotan Singh for the Ex-Servicemen Cell, Paritosh Soren for the Cultural Cell, Jaishree Devi Indwar for the Handicrafts and Weavers Cell, and Rajiv Chaudhary for the Fisheries Cell.
Prabhudayal Badaik and Suraj Kumar have been assigned the Sports Cell, while Ajay Singh and Parmeshwar Chaudhary will coordinate the Displaced Persons Cell.
The remaining appointments include Mukesh Chandravanshi for the Slum Cell, Lalit Narayan Ojha for the Migrant Workers Cell, Jailendra Kumar for Panchayati Raj, Mukesh Mukta for Right to Information, Suryaprabhat for Tourism, Ritesh Tiwari for Cow Development, and Ishwarchandra Prajapati and Ashok Sharma for the Rural Artisans Cell.
Guddu Ghosh has been assigned the Minority Linguistic Cell, Balbir Singh Saluja the Protocol Cell, and Sanjay Shaurya the Maths and Temples Cell.
The appointments give the BJP’s Jharkhand unit dedicated organisational responsibilities across multiple social, professional and policy-related areas.
