Chakradharpur, August 29,2026: Teachers from Delhi Public School (DPS), Chakradharpur, participated in a Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) training workshop on Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Sarala Birla Public School in Ranchi.
The training was aimed at familiarizing teachers with emerging educational technologies, computational thinking concepts and practical applications of AI so that they can incorporate technology-based approaches into classroom learning.
Teachers introduced to AI and machine learning
During the workshop, subject experts explained how computational thinking can help students develop analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and creativity.
The sessions also covered the growing applications of artificial intelligence in areas including education, healthcare and industry.
Teachers received training on the fundamentals of AI, machine learning, data management and practical ways of using these technologies in classroom teaching. The programme provided participants with an opportunity to understand how emerging technologies can be integrated into the learning process.
Students to be introduced to CT and AI activities
DPS Chakradharpur teachers described the training as useful for updating their academic knowledge and connecting classroom teaching with modern technology.
The school plans to involve students in various projects and activities based on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence in upcoming academic sessions.
The school management welcomed the CBSE initiative and said teachers need to develop technological skills as education increasingly incorporates digital tools and AI-based learning.
