Ranchi, August 29,2026: Ranjit Toppo, an Enforcement Officer in the Enforcement Branch of Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC), died on August 29 after undergoing treatment for serious injuries sustained in a road accident while on duty.
Toppo was seriously injured in the accident on May 27, 2026. He initially received treatment at a private hospital and was later undergoing treatment at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi.
His death has left the Ranchi Municipal Corporation staff and officials grieving.
