Jamshedpur News: Sakchi Police Hosts Peace Committee Meeting for Durga Puja in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, September 19, 2025 – A crucial peace committee meeting was organized at Sakchi Police Station on Friday in view of the upcoming Durga Puja and Dussehra celebrations in Jamshedpur. Officials appealed to the public to maintain peace, harmony, and cooperation to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the festivals.

Senior Police and Administrative Officials Present at Sakchi Peace Committee Meeting

The meeting was chaired by Sakchi Police Station in-charge Anand Kumar Mishra. Key officials in attendance included City DSP Sunil Kumar Chaudhary, Traffic DSP Shankar Kumar, Special Officer of JNAC Hans Tarnish Kumar, and JUSCO officer Rajeev Kumar Sharma. Other Sakchi police officials such as Pankaj Pranav, Jitendra Kumar Verma, and Ramesh Ram were also present.

Participation of Puja Committee Representatives in Jamshedpur

Representatives from several prominent Durga Puja committees of Jamshedpur joined the meeting. Among them were Sunny Sanghi and Amit Sanghi from Bal Mandir, Shantanu Bose from Chenab Road Puja Committee, as well as members from Aam Bagan Puja Committee, Utkal Puja Committee, and others.

The meeting also saw active participation from peace committee members including Tej Pratap Pandey, Paramjit Singh Kale, Sonu Raja Khan, and Manish Kumar Sharma. All stakeholders collectively stressed the importance of maintaining law and order, communal harmony, and cultural respect during the festive season.
