Jharkhand News: Jharkhand Jharbhoomi Services Down Till September 25 for System Migration

Online Land Services in Jharkhand To Be Suspended Till September 25

Ranchi, September 19, 2025: Online services related to land in Jharkhand including registration, mutation, and other citizen-centric services under the Jharkhand Bhulekh (Jharbhoomi) system will remain unavailable until September 25, 2025. The temporary suspension is due to infrastructure migration of the Jharkhand State Data Center (JHSDC) to its upgraded version, JHSDC 2.0.

Reason for Jharbhoomi System Downtime

The Department of Information Technology & Digital Services (JaPa-IT) of the Government of Jharkhand is overseeing the migration process. From September 19 to 25, the Jharbhoomi server will be down as part of moving to the new and enhanced infrastructure platform.

During this period, no online applications or transactions related to land services will be processed. This includes registrations, mutations, and similar land records services.

Citizen-Centric Services to Be Affected by Offline Period

All citizen-centric land services provided by the Revenue Department will be temporarily disrupted. Jharkhand officials have urged citizens to bear with the inconvenience during this system migration.

State authorities have also assured that mutations under automatic or routine mutation will be handled in a manner that no legal or transactional loss occurs during the downtime. Proper safeguards are being set up.

Assurance of Secure Land Transactions During Migration

Despite the disruption, the state government has taken steps to ensure that no harm will come to ongoing or pending transactions. Data integrity, security measures, and procedural safeguards are being put in place to protect land records during the migration of Jharbhoomi to JHSDC 2.0.

Public Notice and Cooperation

The Jharkhand government has issued public notices about the temporary suspension and requested cooperation from citizens. Residents relying on land registration and mutation services are advised to plan their applications accordingly and avoid expecting online services during the migration window.
