Ranchi, October 26, 2024: : Central Minister and Jharkhand BJP election in-charge, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has strongly criticized Congress MLA Dr. Irfan Ansari for his recent remarks against Sita Soren. In a media interaction, Shivraj Singh Chouhan condemned Irfan Ansari’s statements, urging Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to remove him from the state cabinet.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed his disapproval, stating, “Irfan Ansari should be ashamed of his behavior. The derogatory language he used against Sita Soren is not just an insult to her but to all women of Jharkhand and the nation. It is a direct affront to women’s dignity and respect.”
He emphasized that Sita Soren is the wife of the late Durga Soren, daughter-in-law of JMM Supremo Shibu Soren and the sister-in-law of CM Hemant Soren, stressing the familial and political connections that make the issue even more sensitive.

The BJP leader urged CM Hemant Soren to take immediate action. “If Hemant Soren has any sense of responsibility and dignity, he should expel Irfan Ansari from the cabinet.
