The incident occurred on Monday evening near S-Type Chowk in the Adityapur area of Saraikela. The cash, which had fallen from a biker’s bag, was promptly handed over to the authorities.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident unfolded when a high-speed biker, unaware of his bag’s open zip, dropped the cash while riding past S-Type Chowk. Two bikers trailing him noticed the cash falling onto the road. However, the original biker sped off, oblivious to the mishap.

The two bikers who spotted the cash were later identified as Anang Karmakar, an employee of Tata Power and Abhay, a radio jockey with Red FM. Demonstrating integrity, they retrieved the cash and immediately informed the local ward councillor, Sudhir Kumar. Kumar facilitated contact with the Adityapur police, ensuring that the money was secured and an investigation initiated.
