Giridih, August 16, (J.H.): A newly built digital library was inaugurated in Telodih Panchayat of Giridih on Sunday, providing local students with a dedicated space equipped with internet and other basic facilities for study.

Pachamba police station in-charge Rajiv Kumar inaugurated the library by cutting the ribbon. After the ceremony, Telodih Panchayat head Shabbir Alam presented him with a bouquet before he inspected the facility and reviewed the arrangements made for students.

Kumar praised the initiative and said facilities of this kind in rural areas can provide students with better opportunities to pursue their education. He also urged students to maintain discipline and study with dedication, stressing that consistent hard work and commitment are essential for success.

The digital library has been equipped with free high-speed Wi-Fi, RO-filtered drinking water, electricity and fans. Separate washrooms have also been provided for male and female users. The internet facility is intended to help students access online study material, educational videos and other digital resources.

During the programme, Shabbir Alam announced that free coaching classes would begin from September at the panchayat building for girls studying in Class 10 in Telodih Panchayat.

According to Alam, the initiative is aimed at providing additional academic support to girls from the rural area, including assistance with board examination preparation and preparation for competitive examinations.

He said some students are unable to access private coaching because of financial constraints. The free coaching programme, he said, is intended to provide them with additional guidance and support at the panchayat level.

A large number of students, elected representatives and local residents attended the digital library inauguration. The launch of the library and the announcement of free coaching for Class 10 girls generated enthusiasm among students and parents in the area.
