Giridih, October 13: In a shocking incident, a former Naxalite allegedly shot his mother and two others over a property dispute in Birni, Giridih.

The accused, identified as Reet Lal Yadav, fled the scene after the incident, which took place in Pipradih village. Authorities confirmed the involvement of the accused, who had a history of association with Naxalite activities.

Reet Lal Yadav, the prime suspect, was previously affiliated with Naxalite organizations. He had been arrested multiple times in connection with Naxalite activities and had served prison sentences.

On 13, Reet Lal Yadav got into an argument with his mother, Somari Devi, his brother Munshi Yadav and Munshi’s wife over property-related issues. The confrontation turned violent when Reet Lal Yadav opened fire, leaving all three critically injured.

The incident occurred at Pipradih village under the jurisdiction of Birni Police Station. The victims were immediately rushed to Dhanbad PMCH hospital for emergency treatment.
